Lithia Park
A National Historic Site, Lithia Park is called the "jewel of Ashland". 100 acres of mature trees and beautiful
trails make this an oasis of calm and beauty just yards from the central plaza.
The park includes two fountains
of Lithia mineral water, a children's playground, tennis courts, a Japanese garden, two duck ponds
and numerous picnic tables and barbeque pits.
The Lithia Park Woodland Trail is an easy and delightful walk. Interest along the way comes from the variety and
beauty of its plant scenery and for the many points of scientific that have been labelled. The Trail runs for
about one mile.
