The largest expanse of coastal sand dunes in North America. Here you'll also find lakes, forested areas, and ocean beaches making up one of nature's outstanding natural phenomena. The National Recreation Area extends 40 miles along the Pacific Ocean from the Siuslaw River on the north to the Coos River on the south.
