Information
Tumalo rests along Oregon's spectacular Deschutes River 4 miles north of Bend. Its location makes it an ideal for lots
of outdoor activities, fishing, hiking and mountain biking. The Cascade Mountains and Mt Bachelor
are all within easy reach.
23 full hook-up sites and 58 tent sites and 7 Yurt sites. Two reservable group tent camping areas accommodate approx. 25 each.
Directions
West on Hwy 20 toward Sisters for 5 miles. Turn left at Tumalo Jct. On to Cook Ave. Continue to the park.

Deschutes National Forest
There are more than 125 developed campgrounds on the Deschutes and Ochoco National Forests, ranging from small
primitive campgrounds with a few campsites to large well developed campgrounds with more than a 100 campsites.
Newberry Crater & Paulina Lake
There are seven campgrounds in the Crater, offer shoreline camping, boat ramps, sanitary facilities, group
camping, and a horse camp with equestrian trails.
LaPine State Park
The park is also home to Oregon's largest ponderosa pine. Nicknamed "Big Red," the tree is 162'
tall, 28.9' around and may be in excess of 500 years old.
Cold Springs Resort & RV Park
On the Metolius river with 1 acre riverfront lawn & footbridge to Camp Sherman. 45 full hook-up
sites with large patios under the ponderosa pines plus 5 river front cabins.
