Owners, founders and winemakers, Trudy and Keith Kramer entrepenuer spirit first began with nothing more than a dream in
one hand and a home winemaking book in the other.
Before long, diligence, hard work and great determination combined with their love of the outdoors ignited their dream and before they knew it ,
had created one of the best, award winning Wineries in the Yamhill Country of Oregon.
First planted in 1984 with Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Müller-Thurgau and Carmine; they had their first vintage in 1989.
The summers in the Northern Yamhill County West of Portland, Oregon are usually warm with very little rain and perfect temperatures
for growing delicious grapes which produce fine wines.
Average temperatures are in the 80's with overnight lows around 60.
At the winery, all of the wine grapes from the vineyard are used and no other grapes are purchased except for a few
varieties that do not grow well here, such as Syrah and Merlot.

We also have available a lovely wedding area with a beautiful panoramic view of the Coast Range and the vineyard in the foreground

The soils here are Willakenzie and Peavine with sedimentary rock origins and we were one of the
first to plant grapes on this type of soil, now recognized as one of the finest soils for winegrapes!
