Oregon Coast Trail
The Oregon Coast Trail will eventually traverse the entire coast from California to Washington. Over 300 miles are now in use.

Kalmiopsis Wilderness
characterized by deep rough canyons, sharp rock ridges, and clear rushing streams and rivers. The Kalmiopsis represents a unique landscape of unusual beauty composed of diverse topography (elevations from 400 to 5,100 feet), rock, soil, vegetation and wildlife habitat.
The Kalmiopsis Wilderness is named for a unique shrub, the Kalmiopsis leachiana, a relic of the pre-ice age and one of the oldest members of the Heath (Ericaceae) Family.
