The many styles of personal-recipe beer on tap are complemented by the great menu of entrees, snacks, hand crafted pizza, chicken, chips, spaghetti and sandwiches in the restaurant.

The addition of hand-crafted beer was a natural progression in the Mia and Pia's family business, which started out over 30 years ago. Don and Nancy Kucera ran a dairy operation which distributed Grade A Raw Milk to outlying areas included Medford, Bend, and Lakeview.

In 1987, the Kuceras began a small pizza business. Rod Kucera, the son of Don and Nancy, devoted all of 1996 to converting the former dairy into a brewery, utilizing much of the dairy equipment and dairy hardware. In 1997, Mia & Pia's Pizzeria and Brewhouse was born.
